Mark:
May I compliment you on your approach , Momentum Trading Ssytem and
your overall excellent buisness. It's alike a blast of fresh air.
With sooo much hype out there, I reluctantly bought your system in
February, half expecting junk. Sorry.
Am I surprised. Not only is the system the clearest method I have ever
come across, (I've been trading over 20 years) BUT IT REALLY DOES WORK!
I have only placed five trades on since buying M.S.T.S. and here are
the results. I am up over $3,800 on my $10,000 portfolio with thse
trades alone.
No.. it's not 100% accurate. Like you said it isn't. But my winners
have been much larger than my losses and that's about all we can hope
for in the stock market.
1) ERES Entered March +56%
2) PKTR Entered Feb +61%
3) IDBE Entered April +35%
4) VRNT Entered April -10%
5) CENT Entered March -10%
And.. like you say it only take some a few minutes each weekend to
manage.
Thank you. I sincerely mean this.

Mark,
I have been subscribing to Investor's Business Daily for 2 years.
It's
very good, but there are too many stocks to choose from.
The great thing
about your
system is that it screens all the stocks to get only the best.
IBD never showed me MED, but I bought it from your screening table at
10.29,
and I'm up
23%.
Also, your swing-low pivot system has kept me from being
knocked
out of DKS so that I'm still 7% up as of today.
I simply don't have
time to
try "good" stocks, so I need to buy only the very best.
It's about
time
someone came up with a screening software, instead of a black-box list
of
"buys" based on opinion.

Mark,
I've track your picks for the past 2 weeks in TC2000.
There have been 11 gainers, 1 loser, 1 no change for a total of 7.23%
gain. Some of the stocks have been in the watchlist for 14 days, some
4, 6, 7, or 8 days.
If one were to close the positions today, it would amount to just over
400% annualized gain. Doing that every 2 weeks would make for a nice
living!
A screen shot of the watchlist is attached
(to take a look
click here). Thought you might enjoy it.
Congrats.

Mark,
Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I ordered your
MSTS course a few years ago and it's great. I am presently trading HNR
(NYSE) after it broke through for a nice 72.8% gain. I am following
your advice of "protecting my profits once up". Nothing to do now but
to sit back, find the new ceiling, find the new floor, raise my stops
accordingly, and let the market take me out when the time comes. It's
so nice to have all of the decisions being taken care of for me with
your technique without having the stress of "what should I do now".
Thanks a bunch Mark, your book is great.

As mentioned to you earlier ... I have successfully
used my own trading method, developed over a period of years. I
subscribed to yours out of curiosity and find it similar to mine in
some ways. It is, however, superior in its simplicity. I'm currently
in the process of backtesting and find it also generally superior in
performance. Thanks so much. I wish i had had your method during the
1990's. I'd probably be retired in Hawaii now.
Thanks,

Hello Mark,
I would like to share with you my recent winners using your system. I
have been keeping a journal of my trades and found that a lot of my
losers were stocks that were too thinly traded in a declining market.
Now that the market seems to be heading upward for now, the shares I
have traded have been all winners thus far. Here are some recent
examples (all traded within the last month):
Current profit of 8% in STRA
Current profit of 7% in GNTA
Current profit of 56% in AVII
Closed profit of 16% in MGAM
Thanks,

I read through your system and was really impressed
with the book. But the "proof of the pudding is in the results" So I
placed a trade following your rules. I was sceptical because the
market was tanking. But what the hell. I hung on and followed your
rules to a 'T'. The trade ended up being a 17% gain in five weeks. By
most claims on the Net this seems poultry. But I know this system is
real and will get me back on the winning track. I have been looking
back at hundreds of stock charts and can see exactly what you are
talking about. So simple, yet so deceptive....
Thank you for all your help.

Hi Mark,
I have recently been studying your momentum stock trading system and I
think it is one of the best manuals about trading I have seen. A
simple methodology with an analytic framework.

it sure is a short cut to stock market success. I tell everyone to buy

| Your weekly market indicators alone are truly amazing.
Listen to this! The other day I updated your weekly indicator numbers
and plotted them on weekly charts. I silently admired their
exceptional precision. Under the impression of recent evaluation of
one short term S&P and Nasdaq trading system, I was struck with this
simple idea to implement your indicators as a stand alone trading
system for Dow, S&P and Nasdaq futures.

Your screeners are SUPERB!
I was thinking of going long as CNN told us all the market was prime
for a buy. I looked at your indicator figures. A whopping -9. So I
shorted some stocks. The market really tanked and I made $7,780
Not bad for just a $199 investment in your package.
Thanks Pal

Mark,
I have just finished my third read of your MSTS manual, and I am
severely impressed. The scales fell from my eyes as so many things
came together while reading your words. I have traded for a year now
and made most mistakes I suppose--but I keep to my stops! Now I see
where I was missing trend and price action as you describe--what a
revelation. I kept muttering to myself: "OF COURSE!" And like me you
appreciate simple explanations. I am very glad that I took the leap. I
have now ordered the Indicator too--and anything else you care to
write! I am very interested in the Commodity e-book whenever it is
ready. I feel like I can talk to you as a friend in the markets and
that is a rare quality for you as an author to have. I wanted to give
you this feedback as I have spent big bucks without gaining the
confidence your truth gave me.
Regards,
Dr.David Lake (Australia)

Hi,
I bought the system in December last year. I made a few trades and "learn
by doing". NFI 30% in 8 weeks, I think the daily volume is not meeting
the criteria. PPD -5% (I realized this stock was not selected exactly
follow the criteria) SIE 12% in 5 days and stopped out, maybe the stop
was too tight. The system is good and simple and is really a "stress
free" one, I quit day trading now and spend more time with my family.

Mark,
I received your book on momentum trading yesterday and am finding it
to be a very interesting read. I would like to congratulate you on
your excellent and honest approach.
I just finished your manual for the 2nd read-through. The more I read
it, the more impressed I am with what you've put together. I read Van
Tharps book but haven't taken any of his home study courses (they seem
a bit pricey). Your manual seems to do a really nice job of distilling
a lot of Van's ideas ... makes it much easier to understand and apply
than Van does. Congrats on a nice job! I've been paper trading for a
year.I'm ready to jump in when this market turns around. Don't think I
want to get into short selling first thing out of the starting gate.

I made enough this year off those idea's to buy a new car !!!! Well I
got in bybi 12/31 to 1/9 :)) in fact I got in before TC2000 had
recommended it a buy.... how is that for timing?

What with a career change, a new job and college
classes, it's taken me
longer than anticipated to read your book. It has been an
enjoyable
experience and see similarities in approach to Darvas and O'neil.
I am
looking forward to applying your method and will invariably be
emailing you
often for clarification.
I must say, it seems that you made a sincere effort to teach people
your
method and it's pleasure to read about a system that doesn't concern
itself
with "entertaining" its users with lots of frivolous (and money losing)
trades.
Cheers,
Evan

Hello All,
I have been trading using MTST on the LSE with huge success whilst the
Datek
account was opened in the U.S.
My first success was a small cap called MTP, I made over 100% on this
using
the exact MTST principle and over 50% on BBY as well.
I am now focusing on U.S markets, and PPDI and TTWO as well.
Happy trading.

I have been trading for approximately 3 years now ( I
am an end of day
trader and work full time as a computer systems project manager) and
to be
quite honest I have have found trading very difficult (and I think I
am
quite educated and bright). I have purchased and read many trading
books and
to be honest there are some books I still find difficult to understand
and
apply.
I find the use of indicators (usual stuff such as moving averages,
stochastic, MACD etc) pretty hopeless and of little benefit to me when
trading at times. The good thing is that the "Momentum Share Trading
Course"
dosn't use any of these which I thought was great. From what I have
read and
learnt about trading I believe Mark Chrisp covers all the imortant
things in
relation to trading in his course material ( money management, entry,
exits,
personal psychology etc ).
I believe his section/chapter on "Patterns" (ceiling and floors) is
worth
the price of the course material itself.
One thing I am learning though is that to trade you have to keep
things very
simple. The stock chart (price, time, support, resistance, volume,
trend
lines etc) alone tells you an awfull lot of information which we seem
to
just gloss over ( because we have so many other useless things like
indicators on our computer charting software).
To be honest in my own trading I apply the principles that Mark
describes in
his course whenever I trade (particularly large volume and ceilings
and
floors, stops etc). I believe that this has helped me survive (keep
going)
to date as a trader.
I have brought a number of other small trading courses however I
believe
Mark's is quite good value and probably the best of them all to date.
I believe I have read the course material about three times now. Some
parts
I found a little unclear at first but after reading it again I got to
understand it. Note that I had read a lot of other basic trading books
before this. Some of the charts (diagrams) were a little difficult to
see
(not clear) however after applying myself and reading the material I
worked
out what they should be.
I am not sure if you are aware of this but I believe TRADING IS VERY
DIFFICULT. A lot of people would like to make it sound the opposite
and say
that it is easy and money is easy to come by but it is not.
However I do believe that Mark's course is very good and an very
honest
attempt at helping people trade and make money.
All the best with your trading. As I have said it is one of the
most
difficult thing I have ever tried (time wise, effort wise etc) however
I
find it very facinating and challenging. |

| I love your system and I have been using in the bear
market with puts and have been doing well. The most important part of
the site to me is the market indicator. I use a free site to search
and a free site for charting and that is all I need to be successful,
since your system is so simple to automate. If you have a search
system that is based on your rules and a button to instantly view the
chart, than that is worth paying for since it would save time, and be
focused on your system only.
