Stock Market Books1h>
The five very best stock market books I have ever read about stock trading would have
to be:
1) How I Made $2 Million In The Stock Market - Nicolas Darvas.
I modelled my whole trading career on this guys trading system and his attitude. What a mind!
You must read this stock market book if you want to know what it takes to succeed. Buy this
stock book today and read at least fifty times. It worked then and it works now! I read this stock
book at least five times a year and, amazingly, seem to pick up one new point each time.
2) Reminiscences of a Stock Operator: Jesse Livermore:
Everyone seems to love this stock market book. From seasoned money managers and traders to
people who have never traded a stock in their life. It's such an interestign story of a colourful
stock trading life. He was brilliant. But sadly the gamblers instict held him. Made and lost
several million dollar fortunes. A must read in what to do and what NOT to do. You'll gain much
knolwedge from this trading wisdom.
3) Trade Your Way To Financial Freedom - Tharp.
A great stock market book in that it takes you away from all the hype and focuses your attention
to what is really important in stock trading.. which is? Money management (you knew this of course?)
Great advice in this book from a wide range of professional traders. It wil ltake you away from
wasting your time looking for a holy grail and focusing on treating the stock market as a business.
4) Market wizards I,II and III - Schwager:
What a great insight this stock market book is into the minds of professional traders. Each book
is basically an indepth interview with America's top traders. What i found fascinating was there was
so many different trading styles. So much wisdom can be learend by learning what these traders are saying.
There isn't a month htta goes by without me reading at least interview from thes excelllent stock market
books.
5) The Disciplined Trader - Mark Douglas.
I put this stock market book in at number five becasue it takes your focus and places it solely on the
correct trading psychology you need to succeed in the stock market. So many peole spend all their time trying
to create a perfect system that churns money in all market conditions. They spend very little time on developing
the correct traidng attitude you need to ride out the hard time and press the good times, without blowing up!
This stock book is a little bland. But once you get into the meat of it and try out some of the exercises you'll
find it a very worthwhile read.
