There are many stock investing methods. Some work most do not. But what is really important for you, as a stock market investor, is to decide which method will work for you.

How do you determine this? Ask your-self this question. What is it I want to achieve from the stock market? Ask your-self some or all of the following questions:

* Do I want to trade the stock markets every day watching the market from 9-5?

* Do I want to risk it all and shoot for a 500%+ gain every year, or is it "pension" money you will be more than happy to take very low risks with in order to make a 40% - 70% per annum gain with? Will you have two accounts? One low risk and one high risk? What exactly are you investing for? Income or long-term growth?

* How much time am I willing trying to master the stock markets?

* How quickly can I learn about the stock markets and how much money can I experiment with trying to find a stock system that really works?

* How often do I want to trade?

* Can I monitor the markets every day?

* Can I withstand the high pressure of shorter- term, higher risk, trading?

If you do not know the answers to these questions then I suggest you do some serious thinking before you jump into the stock market. First determine where it is you want to go and then devise a plan to get there. Once you have done this..... you'll make real progress.
